Cambridge IGCSE™ Computer Science (0478) is an internationally recognised qualification designed mainly for learners aged 14–16, although students of other ages may take it. The syllabus does not specify a formal previous-knowledge requirement. Polymath Institute recommends completing the course over approximately 12–18 months. Assessment consists of two written examination papers, normally taken within one examination series.
