Diagnostic Assessment: Exam Readiness and Language Skills
Understand Components 1–3, revisit the full reading, writing, listening and speaking syllabus, and prepare for component-specific diagnostics. Results are organised by component, syllabus objective and language skill.

PART I: LANGUAGE FOUNDATION
Modules 1–3 strengthen language accuracy and communication for learners who already have a working knowledge of English.

Module 1: Vocabulary, Pronunciation and Meaning
Develop vocabulary in context, word families, collocations, spelling, word stress, sentence stress and intelligible pronunciation. Apply these skills across reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Module 2: Grammar and Sentence Building
Develop accurate sentences, verb forms, agreement, questions, clauses, linking devices and punctuation. Apply grammar choices to meaning, purpose and audience.

Module 3: Communication, Register and Organisation
Organise ideas coherently, develop explanations and opinions, and adapt formal and informal language to audience and purpose. Practise turn-taking, clarification and extended responses.

PART II: THEMATIC LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
Modules 4–8 use varied contexts to integrate the four language skills. These are teaching themes, not a prescribed Cambridge topic list.

Module 4: English in Everyday Life
Practise reading, writing, listening and speaking through everyday routines, services, travel, health and leisure. Develop factual understanding and clear practical communication.

Module 5: English in Personal and Social Life
Explore relationships, interests, experiences and community activities. Develop descriptions, viewpoints, informal correspondence and spoken interaction.

Module 6: Education, Work and Future Plans
Use English to discuss learning, careers, ambitions and decisions. Interpret information, compare options and support opinions with reasons.

Module 7: The World Around Us
Explore environments, technology, media and social issues through varied texts. Distinguish facts and opinions, infer meaning and connect ideas.

Module 8: Culture, Travel and Global Communication
Develop English through cultural experiences, travel and international communication. Integrate reading, writing, listening and speaking with audience-aware responses.

PART III: EXAMINATION PREPARATION
Modules 9–12 cover Component 1 Reading and Writing, Component 2 Listening and Component 3 Speaking. Speaking is separately endorsed and does not contribute to the overall written-component grade.

Module 9: Component 1 – Reading
Prepare for the four reading exercises: short answers, multiple matching, note-making and multiple choice. Cover R1–R4: factual information, connections, selecting details and implied meaning.

Module 10: Component 1 – Writing
Prepare for both 120–160-word writing tasks: informal and more formal writing. Cover W1–W4: task fulfilment, coherent organisation, language range and accuracy, and appropriate register. Component 1 combines reading and writing: 2 hours, 60 marks, 70% of the overall grade.

Module 11: Component 2 – Listening
Prepare for five listening exercises and 40 multiple-choice questions. Cover L1–L4: specific information, opinions, connections and implied meaning. Approximately 50 minutes including answer transfer; 40 marks; 30% of the overall grade.

Module 12: Component 3 – Speaking Endorsement
Prepare for the interview, short talk and discussion, including the unassessed introduction and warm-up. Approximately 10–15 minutes and 40 marks. Speaking achievement is reported separately, grades 1–5; it is not added to the overall grade. Practise with recordings and teacher feedback.

PART IV: FINAL REVISION & MOCK EXAMINATIONS
Modules 13–14 consolidate weaknesses, rehearse all three components and develop a final study plan.

Module 13: Vocabulary, Grammar and Skills Revision
Use an error log and evidence from practice to revisit vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, writing and speaking. Set specific improvement targets and check progress with fresh tasks.

Module 14: Full Mock Examinations and Final Preparation
Rehearse Component 1, Component 2 and Component 3 under appropriate conditions. Review answers and teacher-marked writing and speaking using the relevant criteria. Keep practice outcomes separate from official Cambridge grades and the separately reported Speaking Endorsement.
