About Course

Cambridge IGCSE™ Enterprise (0454) is an internationally recognised qualification designed mainly for learners aged 14–16, although students of other ages may take it. No previous study of Enterprise is required, but a broad lower-secondary education is recommended. The course requires approximately 130 guided learning hours, usually completed over 9–12 months. Assessment consists of two components—a written paper and coursework—normally completed within one examination series. The course develops enterprise knowledge, practical capability and readiness for further education or employment.

You will study how enterprises identify opportunities, organise resources, manage risks and respond to customers and stakeholders. You will explore enterprise skills, business organisation, finance, planning, marketing, negotiation, legal responsibilities, ethics and effective communication. Through your own enterprise project, you will apply research, decision-making, teamwork, presentation and problem-solving skills in a realistic context. The qualification provides a strong foundation for further study, including Cambridge International AS & A Level Business, and supports pathways in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, management and community enterprise.

At Polymath Institute, you will learn through a structured digital platform offering syllabus-aligned lessons, guided practice, topic exercises, quizzes, assessments, past-paper preparation and mock examinations. Focused revision and progress tracking will help you identify weaker areas, monitor your examination readiness and prepare confidently for higher grades. You can study at your own pace, revisit lessons when necessary and strengthen both written-paper and coursework skills through regular feedback and 24/7 tutoring support. As your study partner, Polymath Institute connects classroom knowledge with practical enterprise experience, further education and career development while helping you build the independence, communication and analytical skills valued by universities and employers.
