Cambridge International AS & A Level Marine Science (9693) is an internationally recognised qualification typically studied by learners aged 16–19. No specific prior Marine Science qualification is stated, although a sound secondary-level science background is advisable. The AS Level usually takes one year and has two components; the full A Level usually takes two years and has four. AS components are completed in one examination series, while A Level may be taken together or through a staged route.
