About Course

Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) is an internationally recognised qualification designed for learners typically aged 14–16. It develops a foundational understanding of the principles, concepts and applications of physics, helping students make sense of the physical world around them. The syllabus emphasises both theoretical knowledge and scientific skills, including practical investigation and data interpretation.

Learners study core physics topics such as motion, forces, energy, electricity, magnetism, waves, thermal physics, nuclear and space physics. Through structured learning, students build from fundamental concepts toward deeper understanding, preparing them for further study including Cambridge International AS & A Level Physics and other advanced programmes.

This syllabus encourages curiosity, logic and application of scientific methods, strengthening analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. The assessment is structured to reflect a balance of knowledge recall, handling and analysing information, and experimental competency.

Cambridge IGCSE Physics supports global educational progression and is accepted by universities and employers worldwide as evidence of robust scientific understanding.
