About Course

The Cambridge IGCSE™ Physics (0625) qualification is an internationally recognised secondary-level programme designed primarily for learners aged 14–16 years, although it is open to students of other ages. It develops a strong foundation in physics through a balanced combination of theory and practical investigation. No formal prior knowledge is required, although a general science background is beneficial. The course is typically completed over 1.5–2 years, assessed through three examination papers/components, and is normally completed in a single examination series.

Throughout this course, you will explore how the physical world works by studying motion, forces, energy, thermal physics, waves, electricity and magnetism, nuclear physics, and space physics. You will develop practical laboratory skills, mathematical problem-solving abilities, scientific reasoning, and the confidence to analyse real-world phenomena. These skills prepare you for further study in subjects such as Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, and Applied Sciences, while also supporting future careers in technology, research, engineering, healthcare, and many other scientific fields.

At Polymath Institute, your study partner, you will learn through a structured digital platform featuring syllabus-aligned video lessons, guided practice, interactive topic exercises, quizzes, assessments, past paper practice, mock examinations, focused revision, and continuous progress tracking. With 24/7 tutoring support, you can study at your own pace, revisit challenging topics whenever needed, strengthen weaker areas, monitor your examination readiness, and build the confidence required to achieve higher grades. The course also helps you connect scientific concepts with real-world applications, university pathways, and future career opportunities through engaging and practical learning experiences.
